A Crack in the Sky by Yocha Maitos
Constructing a ginormous light installment in the forest, Maitos was able to accurately portray the sight of a portal opening up in the night sky. Dont worry though errybody, I’m pretty sure this is the way to Narnia.

A Crack in the Sky
(a response by Andrea Blythe to the above art)
It was there, a bright opening,
and it was impossible to know
what,
if anything,
was on the other side, but I
stepped forward
and through,
to end or to begin, to live or to die,
but at the very least
to discover.

I have come to believe over and over again that what is most important to me must be spoken, made verbal and shared, even at the risk of having it bruised or misunderstood.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
Poetry is
more than
shiny words
or phrases,
more than
line breaks,
rhymes, or
s p a c e s.
It breathes
and sings
and hangs
from strings
tied neatly
to
our
secret
places.
Well said, write-handed, well said.
