Interesting article. I’m learning more and more about how my staying silent on issues of race (merely because talking about it is uncomfortable) is actually an aspect of white privilege. I can stay silent, to ignore the issues, because I’m white, whereas a person of color may not have that luxury. Race is something they deal with everyday.
